🗳 Governance 🗳
The “Maker Membership” project is being finalized. It consists of building a stronger 2nd circle of contributors to the DAO, with more benefits, governance power and a financial contribution to the costs of the DAO.
- The technical aspect is 95% ready. Payment flow and NFT infrastructure have been developed by @Mattia and @Titi
- But some more official decision making is needed to officialize various aspects of the Maker Membership. Aspects of the membership haven’t been voted or decided at all: Amount of $PEAK drop for governance, Right to $PEAK tokens rewards for projects contributions (excluded from free Maker NFT), Price and duration of the membership, Name of the role associated
Conclusion: The corresponding proposal that was waiting for voting will be refined and cast for voting → Introduce Maker Membership

This week:
- Small games to access the whitelist of our Fleet0 have been crafted and organized by @Marco. See this announcement. So far near 20 community members have been whitelisted.
- Hiring effort have been continued by @Titi and @Steve and 2 new blockchain developers have joined the team as contributors. A warm welcome to @Maria and @Esdras! Esdras is also a contributor to Warp2.0, a Solidity→Cairo transpiler… So proud to have you onboard Pirate! The target of securing the protocol with more Solidity Developers onboard is now reached with a team composition that’s even better that initial hopes: @Eladio, @Fran, @Mattia, @Maria and @Esdras.
- A technical and marketing partnership has been announced with Tyche Protocol for an NFT Staking Feature. You’ll be able to earn $GALL with multiplicators depending on your Ship level. A round of applause for @Surajdeep who led this initiative 👏. Added to Pyth Network, our oracle, it's already 2 valuable partners totaling a community of ~140k followers.
- A Twitter space was hosted by our partners Pyth Network last Friday, extremely well animated by Ed. A very nice exposure, the second of the kind this month.

- @Eladio gave a general blockchain development course at the University of La Laguna, with @Steve and @Fran coming along
- @Daniel from Heavy Duty Builders gave a Solana Dev workshop to developers during Nomad City
- @Juanma gave a Web3 general workshop to blockchain-curious people during Nomad City, connecting once again with our Canarian remote working Padre, Nacho Rodriguez!
- @Titi was in Paris wall week for EthCC and Epic Layer 2. Especially to network for Galleon. The rumors says he comes back with cool zkSync merch…
